Host protection

Clear terms for eligible host claims

Cascade keeps a structured review path for damage or serious conduct concerns tied to native bookings. Hosts file from the booking record, operators review the evidence, and approved amounts are recorded for manual settlement.

Damage limit

$10,000

Maximum property-damage amount available for review on an eligible booking.

Deductible

$250

Applied to approved property-damage resolutions unless the operator sets different terms.

Claim window

3 days

Starts when the booked session ends. Claims are filed from the host booking detail page.

How it works

A booking-tied review path

A host can file one claim for an eligible native booking after the session ends and before the claim window closes. The form asks for the category, description, requested amount, and photo evidence.

Operators review the booking record, waiver acknowledgement when present, host notes, and uploaded evidence. Approved claims record a manual resolution amount. No automatic payout is sent from this flow.

Exclusions
Normal wear from regular guest use
Missing items without photo or message evidence
Injury, health, or liability reports
Losses outside the claim window

Current operator terms

This protection program is an operator-reviewed claims process for eligible native Cascade bookings. Final decisions are made from the booking record, host evidence, and current program terms.
